Delhi's air quality is still a major concern, even with a slight improvement. Despite a minor reprieve, the air quality in Delhi remains firmly in the 'poor' category, as reported on Wednesday. The Air Quality Index (AQI) settled at 273, according to the data. But here's where it gets concerning: the CPCB's Sameer app revealed that 27 monitoring stations still registered 'poor' air quality. And this is the part most people miss: Shadipur experienced a 'very poor' AQI reading of 308. This indicates that certain areas are significantly more affected than others. The minimum temperature was 18.4 degrees Celsius, which is about 3.1 degrees above the seasonal average. Humidity levels were at 89% at 8:30 am.
In other news, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to hold a press conference at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi at noon on Wednesday. There's considerable anticipation surrounding this event, with speculation that he might unveil significant information related to his claims of vote theft and irregularities in the electoral rolls. He previously hinted at this by referring to it as dropping a “hydrogen bomb.”
The Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) elections' final results are expected on November 6th. Students cast their votes on Tuesday to elect a new central panel and school councillors. A total of approximately 9,043 students were eligible to vote this year.
